PDHI Releases Enhanced Incentive Management System for Wellness Programs
Bernardsville, NJ, December 17, 2013. PDHI announces the release of ConXus Rewards V2.0 to manage results-based wellness programs as well as programs that tie healthy actions to a premium discount or other health benefits. These enhancements combine with the existing participation-based incentive management solution to drive employee engagement and behavior change throughout the year.
ConXus Rewards allows wellness providers to define wellness targets and qualifying activities for each employer program and participant group, which provides great flexibility in plan design.
Compliance status is provided to employees within the wellness portal in real time as data is loaded and activities are completed.
Health coaches and program administrators review participant status, assign and update activities, manage exemptions and reasonable alternatives, and generate compliance reports.
“Real-time feedback to employees, coaches, and administrators was identified by our clients as a critical requirement for enhanced incentive management,” said Jennifer Jolley, PDHI president. “Simplified program setup, administration, and compliance reporting were also considered essential factors.”
An example of the plan design that can be administered by ConXus Rewards:
Employees must complete a health assessment, attend a wellness screening, and meet wellness targets (BMI <30 and blood pressure <140/90 mmHg) to qualify for paying lower medical insurance premiums. If wellness targets are not met, the employee may complete an approved lifestyle coaching program to avoid higher premiums. Employees may earn additional cash rewards for participating in team challenges, completing health action plans, and attending wellness events.
Other products within the ConXus application suite include:
- Profile — health risk assessment
- Biometrics — biometric data management
- Steps — health action plans
- Connection — workplace challenges and wellness events
- Health — integrated health record
- Direct — health coach documentation and information system
- Administrator — program setup, reporting, and data management
