ConXus Health v2.1

ConXus Health v2.1 includes the following enhancements:

  1. The existing Lifestyle and Family History pages have become part of a new section called Personal. New pages have been added to this section for Demographic Information and for Advance Directives.
  2. Office visits has been added as a new section in Medical History.
  3. Additional vital signs have been added to the existing Vitals page.
  4. More extensive support is provided for loading external data, including provider contacts, vitals, and procedures.

Note: All changes are additive, there are no changes to existing data structures.

Implementation Timeline and Process

The ConXus Profile v2.1 upgrade will take place on Tuesday, March 25th, 2008 during the scheduled maintenance window from 4:00am to 7:00am Eastern Time.

Note: No actions are required by client administrators for this upgrade to take place.

Description of Enhancements

This section provides a more detailed description of the product enhancements.

1. Demographics
A new page has been added for general user information containing the following data items:

  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Blood type
  • Religious affiliation
  • Marital status
  • Number of children
  • Formal education
  • Job description

2. Advance Directives
A new page has been added to collect information about the user’s advance directives, containing the following data items:

  • Type (select from code list or enter a free text description)
  • Description
  • Date
  • Contact Name
  • Contact telephone
  • Comments
  • Job description

3. Office Visits
A new page has been added to collect information about the user’s office visits, containing the following data items:

  • Type (select from code list or enter a free text description)
  • Description
  • Date
  • Location
  • Commentse

4. Vital Signs
For compatibility with ConXus Profile — Health Risk Assessment v2.3 the following data items have been added to the existing Vitals page:

  • Hip
  • Waist-to-hip ratio (calculated)
  • Body fat percentage

5. Enhanced Data Load
The data load routines have been extended to provide support for:

  • Provider contacts
  • Procedures
  • Vitals
