ConXus® Portal provides registration, authentication, and eligibility file management services to control access to ConXus applications. ConXus Portal is designed for:
1.
Clients that do not provide member authentication at their portal, or
2.
Clients that wish to enroll participants who are not covered members.
ConXus Portal provides the following services:
Self-registration to allow participants who are not yet registered to create an account, verified against the eligibility file.
Secure logon for registered users.
Online password management services to support registered users who have lost their passwords.
Eligibility File Management: The eligibility file load process supports CSV (comma delimited) or fixed length files. Eligibility files are transferred using a secure FTP server at intervals agreed between the client and PDHI.
At time of registration, the user is asked to enter a Participant ID (e.g. employee ID), employer, gender, and date of birth. If a match is found with the eligibility file then the user will be prompted for a password and a user account will be created. If a match is not found, the participant will be directed to an error page containing client supplied instructions. At registration, the participant may optionally be required to accept client supplied terms and conditions of use.
Note: Multiple end clients can use the same client portal, provided branding, usage instructions, and any terms and conditions are common to all groups.
