Health Assessment Insights: Turning Data into Action

October 6, 2025

At PDHI, we believe data should do more than fill spreadsheets— it should drive meaningful change. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Health Assessment Insights, the first release of our new Program Insights dashboard.

This new feature gives program administrators, wellness managers, and organizational leaders a real-time, centralized snapshot of Health Assessment participation and outcomes, in addition to in-depth and custom reports that .

Why Health Assessment Data Matters

Health Assessments— also known as Health Risk Assessments, HRAs, or Health Appraisals— have long been a cornerstone of workplace wellness and population health programs. Too often, the valuable information they produce gets buried in static reports or reviewed only once a year.

Health assessment data is powerful because it:

  • Reveals early risk indicators – helping organizations identify individuals and groups at higher risk before costly conditions escalate.
  • Provides population-level insights – showing trends across demographics, lines of business, or locations.
  • Supports engagement strategies – by tracking participation rates and identifying barriers to completion.
  • Drives compliance and outcomes – feeding into care gap closure, wellness campaigns, and broader health improvement programs.
  • Strengthens ROI and VOI cases – offering executives hard data on cost drivers and the qualitative value of improved wellbeing.

By surfacing these insights in real time, Insights transforms data into an everyday management tool instead of a once-a-year reporting exercise.

What Health Assessment Insights Delivers

With Insights, organizations gain a real-time snapshot of their program performance:

  • Participation tracking – see who has completed, started, or not yet started their health assessment.
  • Time trends – monitor weekly and monthly participation to identify campaign momentum or drop-offs.
  • Risk profiles – view mean and median wellness scores, risk group distribution, and the top 5 health risks across your population.

Highlighting the top 5 risks is particularly valuable — it allows wellness leaders to focus resources where they will make the greatest impact, from stress management to hypertension, obesity, or other prevalent concerns.

Business Impact

For executives, Health Insights provides a quick and centralized view of program operations, informing overall efficacy, budget and strategic planning.

For program managers, it identifies high-risk groups, campaign effectiveness, and opportunities to shape next year’s program design.

This dual lens makes Insights a tool for both strategic leadership and day-to-day program management.

What’s Next

Health Assessment Insights is just the beginning in a series of new dashboards designed to deliver easy access to data and immediate value to clients. Future updates will expand to incorporate data for all program components, providing even deeper insights into engagement, risk, and outcomes.

Upgrades to the Client Portal are already underway, making it easier to manage programs, users, data exchange, and communications, all while expanding access to information through enhanced reporting options. These improvements also introduce a more intuitive interface designed to simplify everyday workflows.

With Insights, we’ve also added a built-in “Feedback” feature, giving clients a direct way to share comments and suggestions as new enhancements roll out. We look forward to hearing your ideas.

Health Assessment Insights will begin rolling out in Q4 for existing clients. New clients will see it live at implementation.

With Insights, you’re no longer waiting months to understand your program. You’re seeing the story unfold every day — and using it to guide healthier outcomes for your population.
