Two-Factor Authentication

Available: August 22, 2016

Two-factor authentication has been added ConXus Direct Health Coaching & Documentation System and ConXus Administrator to provide enhanced security for users with access to bulk personal health information. In addition, for clients who use the ConXus Sign-On Portal for participant registration and logon, new sign-on pages can be added, allowing for custom branding without having to maintain multiple eligibility files.

Two-Factor Authentication

To provide enhanced security for users with access to bulk personal health information, you may enable two-factor authentication for health coaches, screeners, and administrators. In addition to a username and password, the two-factor authentication requires entry of a one-time security code, sent to the user’s email or phone (SMS text).

Configuration options allow you to select use of email only, SMS text only, or both email and SMS text for delivery of the security code. You may also choose to support trusted devices; when enabled, this allows a user to log on from the same device without use of a security code for a period of two weeks.

Multiple Sign-On Pages Using Shared Eligibility Data

For clients who use the ConXus Sign-On Portal for participant registration and logon, new sign-on pages can be added, allowing for custom branding without having to maintain multiple eligibility files. The new sign-on pages will use the eligibility data already defined in the system to allow participant access. Additional setup fees apply for additional sign-on pages.

An updated Program Request form will be available on Monday, August 22, to reflect the changes to the Program setup. Please feel free to contact PDHI Client Services with any questions about this update.
